Mug Rugs and Cool Coasters | Debi Schmitz Noriega

Whether you call them mug rugs or coasters, these decorative table savers are fun to make, perfect for gifts, and a terrific way to try out different soft craft techniques without investing a lot of time, money, or effort. Since a set is the way to go, you’ll have learned and mastered a new technique by the time you complete all four. Make the set identical or change each one up a bit for a coordinated appeal, your choice. Start with your favorite technique – you’ll find more than a dozen here from patchwork to fabric weaving – or try something completely new! This is the perfect book for creatives looking to land on a crafting technique that suits their style, taste, and skill-level. It lets them dabble before jumping in with both feet.
